Mom Spotlight

Childhood Ambition:
To paint and write scary novels.
Fondest Memory:
The day I met Jesus Christ!
Wildest Dream:
I would love to own this commercial 15-spool Toyota embroidery machine and a
Gammill with stitch regulator. This way I could open my own business and eventually
leave this business to my daughters, and what little girl doesn't want a fairy tale dress
and accessories?
Proudest Moment:
I honestly would have to say that my proudest moments are the very days each one of
my daughters were born.
Biggest Challenge:
Not having the money to get things I truly need for my children, or not having enough
time for everything every day.
Perfect Day:
A perfect day for me is when the older three aren't fighting with one another or taking
what the others have, Shyler hasn't bitten anyone (including adults), my daughters
sleep past their normal 5am feeding, I'm able to sew without having to break up my
daughters' kitten fights with each other. But when the bad days happen, it's great when
one of them walks up and puts their little hands on my face and looks me in the eyes
and says so seriously, "Mommy I love you." What was going wrong is forgotten instantly.
First Job:
Slopping hogs and bottle-feeding calves on my grandpa's farm.
Last Purchase:
This awesome jumpy thing for Griselda and Olivia to help entertain them during the day
so I don't have to do the bouncing all the time and can try to get things done.
Favorite Movie:
Meet the Robinsons. My daughters and I love that funny part where this cute little girl
says "They all think I'm crazy....you think I'm crazy..tooooooo." The older twins say this
out of nowhere and then Shyler my 2-hear-old says "Mommy I'm crazy tooooo." We all
bust into laughter and watch that part again.
My life...
I didn't have a life--not one worth talking about--until I was introduced to Jesus, and from
those years I have had a great life. And I'm happily married.
