Mom Spotlight
Favorite thing about motherhood:
I love the love! The boys and I each have our own special relationship that involves
different things we have in common. It is so rewarding to have a loving and close
relationship with my children that is also unique.
Former Profession:
I have always been an activist of sorts, and include that in my daily life still.
Favorite Saying:
"I can live for two months on a good compliment" -Mark Twain. It's so true! I try to take
the time to give friends, family, and even strangers heart-felt compliments every chance
I get. I know it means so much when I receive one!
Favorite Store to shop for bargains:
I love Katy Mills Mall- their J. Crew and Banana Republic outlets are amazing!
What would be your most enjoyable way to spend $25?
For me, I would go to Whole Foods and buy some wholesome snacks and maybe even
a bottle of wine and go have an evening picnic in the park with my family.
Favorite meal to cook at home:
I am a personal chef for two families here in Houston, so cooking is my passion! In the
summer, my family enjoys eating locally grown tomatoes, olives, and cheeses with
fruits and crackers- it is so easy and perfect for toddlers since they can pick what they
want to eat!
Favorite place to go for a Friday night out:
Ya know, we love to be in our own backyard. The best family night out can sometimes
be a family night in.
