Puffy Heart
Draw a big heart on red
construction paper. Help your
child glue pink cotton balls inside
the heart. Allow to dry, then cut out
the heart shape.

Matching Hearts
Cut several pairs of matching
hearts (a pair from red
construction paper, a pair from
blue construction paper, etc.) Put
the hearts in a mixed-up pile and
let your child find the matching
hearts.

Stuffed Hearts
Cut out two same-size hearts
from a paper bag. Glue the hearts
together around the edges,
leaving a small opening. Let your
child stuff the heart with cotton
balls or tissue, then glue the
opening shut. Decorate with
glitter, stickers, a bow, etc.

All Things Hearts
Go on a scavenger hunt
throughout the house to find
hearts. Look on blankets,
clothing, inside books, etc.

Thumb-Body Loves You
Cut various shaped hearts from
white and pink construction
paper. Use red paint to decorate
the hearts with your child's thumb
prints. Set hearts aside to dry.
On a 4 by 8 inch paper write out
(or print on the computer)
"Thumb-body Loves You". Glue
the paper and the hearts onto a
separate sheet of red
construction paper. Give to a
family member or friend for
Valentine's Day!
