CSI: The Experience
A hands-on, multi-media exhibit featuring mock crime scenes in which visitors
experience what it is like to solve a crime using the latest techniques in forensic
science. Tickets include admission to the permanent exhibit halls. Daily, Houston

Forces of Nature
Playing in the museum's IMAX theater, Kilimanjaro follows a group of hikers to the
summit of Africa's tallest mountain. The film runs about 40 minutes. Daily through
March 13. Houston Museum of Natural Science.

Farm Life
Observe life as it once was at the nature center's 19th-century Martyn farm, as
knowledgeable volunteers demonstrate activities common to daily life on a farm in
southeast Texas. Demonstrations vary from butter and cheese-making to
carpentry and blacksmithing. Saturdays and Sundays through May 31. Armand

The Magic School Bus Kicks Up a Storm
The Magic School Bus Kicks up a Storm teaches kids about weather phenomena
through a variety of hands-on activities such as interpreting live weather data
over the internet and creating a weather report in a mock TV studio. Visitors learn
about lightning and thunder, tornadoes, hurricanes, seasons, and more. Bring a
camera for photo opportunities with costumed characters Ms. Frizzle and Liz the
Lizard from the popular book series. Daily through May 11, Children's Museum of
Houston.

Space Shuttle Experience
Experience some of the same training as the astronauts with the Manned
Maneuvering Unit Trainer, or Rocket Pack where visitors can strap in and try to hit
a target using a laser beam while floating on a cushion of air. Space Center
Houston has the MMU used by astronauts to train on before they blasted off in the

Motion Commotion
With activities at every twist and turn, children will experience and challenge
different principles of physics. Visitors will use ordinary objects in extraordinary
