Brown Bag Lunch Ideas
Pita Bread and Tortilla Rolled Sandwiches
They can be stuffed with cheese, lunch meat, or other sandwich
fillings.

Tuna or Chicken Salad
Add zip to the salads by using low-fat cottage cheese instead of
mayonnaise, chopped apples, pineapples, or grated carrots. If you
like curry dishes, add a dash of curry powder.

Peanut Butter Sandwiches
Sliced bananas are a great addition to this old favorite. Or instead of
banana, add apple and a little cinnamon.

Hard-Boiled Eggs
These can be "deviled", or for sandwiches simply slice the eggs and
spread the bread with a little mayonnaise and mustard. Add lettuce
or chopped watercress.

Mini Bagels with Peanut Butter and Raisins
Two mini bagels or half bagel, spread with peanut butter and
raisins. Add cheese stick and cut strawberries.

Salad Wrap
Wrap salad and diced ham and cheese in a flour tortilla.
Supplement with a banana, pudding cup, and 100% fruit juice.

Quick Pizza
Melt cheese and pizza sauce in a pita bread.

"Lunchables"- Create Your Own
Cut meat slices and cheese into pieces that will fit on crackers. Pack
the meat, cheese, and crackers together, and use take-out
condiment packets (mayo, mustard)  if you have some on hand.

Mini Hawaiian Pizzas
Round crackers, shredded cheese, pineapple chunks, packed in
doubled plastic snack bags. Add a small container with a small
amount of tomato sauce.

Ham and Cheese Sticks
Roll up cheese and ham and use a pretzel stick to hold it together.
