Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex
The Aerodrome Ice Skating Complex provides a first class, family-oriented facility with a
large selection of ice activities for your enjoyment and over 1,000 pairs of skates available
for rental. During the day, public sessions are bright and lively. During the evening
sessions, the lights are dimmed, the music ranges from country to rock to jazz, coupled

Bayou Wildlife Park

Downtown Aquarium

Forbidden Gardens
Come and experience the mystery and magic of Imperial  China! Forbidden Gardens is a
must-see for everyone who wants to embark on an unforgettable journey to a faraway land
without stepping outside of Texas. This fascinating outdoor museum replicates some of

Houston Museum of Natural Science
The Houston Museum of Natural Science is a great choice for indoor fun with new exhibits
monthly and several outstanding permanent exhibits and features, including the Cockrell
Butterfly Center, the Burke Baker Planetarium, Imax Theater, dinosaur exhibits, gems and
minerals, an interactive exhibit in the Weiss Energy Hall,  the Fondren Discovery Place for

Houston Zoo
An exciting educational and popular conservation resource, the zoo is set in a 55-acre

Kemah Boardwalk
Just 20 miles from downtown Houston, this fun-filled development on the Kemah channel

King's Orchard
This orchard is offered to families for fresh strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, figs,
and fresh cut flowers, from early March until Sept. 15. Pick your own fruit during season in
the "King's" Orchard near the Texas Renaissance Festival grounds.  All are grown

Memorial City Mall Play Castle
Come visit Memorial City Mall's newest children's amenity, the new PlayCastle. A towering
castle, 28 feet high and approximately 3,600 square feet in size, with bridges, tunnels,
windows and a roof with several turrets. The PlayCastle is located in the children's wing of
the mall, between Sears and the new Target. Designed primarily for kids ages 0-5, kids
must be no taller than 4 feet to play in the area. Free and open to the public, the play area
is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12 p.m. through 6 p.m. on
Sunday during regular mall hours. This is the neatest indoor play area for kids! It's all in
the theme of a castle. Everything about it is fun and safe!

Miller Outdoor Theater
Miller Outdoor Theatre offers the most diverse season of professional entertainment of
any Houston performance venue, and it's all FREE!  Clasical music, jazz, ethnic music and
dance, ballet, Shakespeare, musical theatre, classic films, and much, much more are

Nature Discovery Center
Nature Discovery Center is a warm and friendly place where children and families share
the joy of discovery. It is housed in the old Henshaw home, nestled in Russ Pitman Park, a
four-acre rural retreat in the midst of the city of Bellaire, Texas. The Center's Discovery

Old MacDonald's Farm
Old MacDonald’s Farm is a 15-acre children's paradise with twelve petting zoos, pony

Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark

Space Center Houston
For out-of-this-world fun, see actual spacecraft, including Mercury, Gemini and Apollo

The Fun Never Stops!

Houston, the Kemah Boardwalk is the
