Nine Proven Ways to Multiply Your Sales

1. Follow-up with your customer.  The easiest method to do this is to follow-up with a
"thank you"  email and include an advertisement for other products you sell. From there,
you can follow-up every few months, or more frequently depending on the type of
product/service you offer.

2.
Upsell to your customers. When they're
at your order page, educate them on additional related
products you have for sale. Allow them to add these "extras" to their order with the click of a
button.

3.
Establish a referral program. Tell your customers if they refer four customers to your
web site, they will receive a full rebate of their purchase price. This will turn one sale into
three sales.

4.
Use an affiliate program. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of
joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. This will
multiply the sale you just made.

5.
Cross-promote your product. Find other businesses' products to create various
package deals. Network with other small businesses and find a solution that benefits all
parties involved.

6.
Make coupons. When you ship out or deliver your product, include a coupon for other
related products you sell in the
package. Believe it or not, coupons really do attract customers to buy more products from
you.

7.
Send your customers a catalog of add-on products
for the original product they purchased. This could be
upgrades, special services, attachments, etc. If they
enjoy your product, they will buy the extra add-ons.

8.
Sell gift certificates for your products. You'll make
sales from the purchase of the gift certificate, and when
the recipient cashes it in there's a good chance they will buy other products from your web
site when they get there.

9.
Give something away. Send your customers free promotional products with their
product package. Be sure to have your business name printed on the products, and use
promos that people will actually keep around -  an actual sample of the product you sale,
OR pens, bumper stickers, ball caps, t-shirts etc.
